4.The Tao of Chi- A Spiritual Path From China

The course emphasizes the spiritual aspects of Qigong as well as Chinese Buddhist and Taoist meditation.

Students will be introduced to traditional Chi Meditation originally introduced by the Tian Tai School of Buddhism in the 6th Century. An integration of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, the theory and practice introduced by the Tian Tai School was applied by later Taoists and, most recently, by popular Qigong masters. The course will integrate Buddhist Dharma, Tao, Chi meditation, Qigong and the I-Ching. Taught by a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is an effective practice to enhance the wellness of body and mind.
